Located between Wolf Creek Pass and Pagosa Springs, Treasure Falls is easily visible from the highway. However, I highly recommend taking the short walk up to the falls, especially in spring or early summer when the water is flowing at its peak.
2. North Clear Creek Falls
Just a stone’s throw from the town of Creede, North Clear Creek Falls is conveniently accessible off State Highway 149. This picturesque waterfall is a must-see for anyone exploring the area and the view point are very easily accessed.
3. Rifle Falls
Nestled in Rifle Falls State Park, this three-pronged waterfall is surrounded by fascinating caves and geological features. It’s a fantastic spot for exploration and photography.
4. Boulder Falls
Follow Boulder Creek or State Highway 119 west out of Boulder, and you’ll find Boulder Falls. This waterfall is just a short path off the highway, making it a perfect summer cooling spot.
5. Bear Creek Falls
Located about five minutes from the town of Ouray, Bear Creek Falls can be viewed right from the Million Dollar Highway (Highway 550). The sight of the waterfall cascading under the highway is truly breathtaking.
6. Ouzel Falls
In the southeastern part of Rocky Mountain National Park, Ouzel Falls requires a 5-mile out-and-back hike. Along the way, you’ll encounter several smaller waterfalls, making the trek even more rewarding.

South of Breckenridge, Continental Falls can be accessed via the Spruce Creek Trailhead. The hike is about 5 miles round trip, but I recommend extending your adventure to see the stunning Lower and Upper Mohawk Lakes.

Near Silverton, Ice Lake Falls features a trail that goes right through the waterfall. The hike is less than a mile from the South Mineral Creek Trailhead, and I suggest continuing on to Ice Lake for an unforgettable experience.
12. Fish Creek Falls
Located near Steamboat Springs, Fish Creek Falls is a popular destination. You can hike about 5 minutes to see Lower Fish Creek Falls or embark on a 4.5-mile round trip to Upper Fish Creek Falls seen below.
13. Adams Falls
Starting from Grand Lake, the East Inlet Trail leads you to Adams Falls in just 5-10 minutes. This well-marked trail is easy to access and perfect for a quick visit.
14. Box Canyon Falls
In Ouray, Box Canyon Falls Park offers a unique experience. For a small fee, you can take a catwalk into the box canyon for impressive views of the falls, or hike the perimeter trail for a different perspective. The falls is hard to capture because of the narrow canyon, but the falls are insanely awesome to check out.
15. Seven Falls
Located in Colorado Springs, Seven Falls requires an entrance fee. The series of cascading waterfalls is a stunning sight and well worth the visit.
16. Helen Hunt Falls
Easily accessible from the road in Colorado Springs, Helen Hunt Falls is another beautiful waterfall that’s perfect for a quick stop.
17. Cascade Creek Falls
Near Grand Lake, the Monarch Lake Trailhead leads you to Lower Cascade Creek Falls in just 3.5 miles. For a more extended hike, continue to Upper Cascade Creek Falls, about 5 miles from the trailhead.
18. Mystic Falls
Near Telluride, Mystic Falls can be reached by a half-mile hike from the Ames Generating Station. For a more challenging adventure, continue on a difficult trail to view the falls from below.
19. Four Mile Falls and Falls Creek Falls
Located near Pagosa Springs, these two magnificent waterfalls sit almost next to each other and are just a 6.5-mile round trip hike. Early summer is the best time to see them in full flow.

- Eldorado Falls: While not a massive waterfall, Eldorado Falls offers a charming spot to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. It’s more like a series of rapids, but it’s definitely worth a visit.
- Berthoud Falls: Situated right on Berthoud Pass, this waterfall is easily visible from the road. Just look for the sign as you drive over, and you can stop to take in the view.
